During the fight between Michael and World, a Sona inmate throw a knife to World to finish Michael off. However, Mahone saw it and did kill World, before he could kill Michael.
Later, during the death of Andrew Tyge, Michael discovered this knife and asked Mahone if he indeed killed Tyge. However, Mahone said he didn't and Michael was going to Lechero. Lechero and Michael did saw that Mahone was going out of Sona. Lechero then killed Cheo with this knife.
