- Brent Howson is the first prisoner who escaped out of prison and then escaped successfully and ended up being killed by a main character (Charlie DuChamp).
- Brent Howson is the first person to be killed in a season premiere by a main character, since James Whistler killed Jason Lief and his bodyguard in Prison Break Season 4.
- Brent Howson is the first prisoner who appeared in a season premiere to killed by a main character, since World being killed by Alexander Mahone in "Orientación" from Prison Break Season 3.
- Brent Howson is one of the few villains who escaped with the help of a co-conspirator. The others are August Tillman, Marlon O'Connell, Andre Brennan, Virgil Downing, Ronald Barnes, Carmen Vega, Victor Mannion and Brody Ardell.
