- Jonah Whitman is the first Breakout Kings Main Villain who's prison wasn't seen on-screen, however, it's name was mentioned on a bus.
- Jonah is the second Main Villain who didn't escaped from prison in season 2 (actually the first since Pat Duffy died). The other is Pat Duffy. Also other characters who hadn't escaped were Theodore Bagwell, Lilah Tompkins, Christian Beaumont, Bennett Ballester, Carmen Vega, Pat Duffy and Emmy Sharp (Ronnie Marcum only if his escape wasn't seen on-screen, but since it was seen on-screen, he did escape, although the Breakout Kings hadn't enough evidence for it.).
- Jonah is the last character not to escape from prison.
- However, T-Bag escaped twice from prison in Prison Break.
- Jonah is the first main villain captured by the Breakout Kings, but was later used by other detectives who were keeping theirself busy with his case.
- Jonah, just like Lilah Tompkins were brought to a hospital after getting caught.
- Jonah is the second Breakout Kings main villain who suffocates someone (Chase Lanning), the first one was Theodore Bagwell who killed Lechero. The only difference is that Jonah beheaded the man while he was already dead and there is also a 3 years absence between the deaths.
- Jonah Whitman has the same initials as James Whistler, a former prisoner (Sona) from the show Prison Break.
