Sapo is a Costa Rican inmate who is in a low social position in Sona. He befriended Brad Bellick, who is as in need as Sapo is, and guided him around the prison. After the cook rejected to give him food, Sapo thinks that he's going to die sooner or later and make a desperate attempt to escape. He is gunned down by the guards at the watchtower. His body was then seen delivered out of Sona.
Biography
Season 3
Sapo was making easily friends with Brad Bellick in Sona. Sapo asked for food, but an inmate give him what was left from the chicken. Sapo and Bellick then had to the make sure that the toilets we good enough and thus had to do this. Sapo then said they threatened them as animals, but he then was trying to escape. Many inmates watched him in Sona, but they saw him dying.

Post-Death
Sapo along with World and Marcel were again shot dead by Sona guards. Later, Michael remembered him how hard it was to escape.
