The Gravedigger was a staff member at Sona Federal Penitentiary. He was responsible for burying deceased inmates and spraying their bodies with Kesslivol[1].
He was going to be part of Michael's escape plan. However, when he was approached by Lincoln and Gretchen Morgan he turned down the bribe offer of $15,000 and was killed by Gretchen. His job was taken over by Sucre.

Trivia[]
- He is the only character killed by Gretchen Morgan who appeared in a season premiere.
- Ironically enough, the audience was believed that she killed Sara Tancredi who appeared in the season 1 and season 2 premiere.
- He is the first on-screen kill by Gretchen, although Michelle Taylor appeared later then him, while being before him killed.
